Our Story
Bliss started in 2021 in a single treatment room in Stockton. It was just Gloria and Athena, a mother and daughter, building the business together and figuring things out as they went. It grew mostly by word of mouth, with clients coming back and bringing their friends and family. In 2023 we opened our storefront at 2119 Pacific Ave, on Stockton’s Miracle Mile.
Today our team and services include medical aesthetics, post-op recovery, Brazilian lymphatic drainage, skin, brows and lashes. We have been careful to keep it personal as we grew. We want you to feel comfortable telling us what is bothering you, asking questions, talking about your budget, or saying no to something that does not feel right. Some clients have been with us since the beginning, and some drive hours to see us.

Our approach. Good care starts with paying attention. We take the time to understand why you are here, explain what to expect, and make sure you are comfortable. We do not rush appointments, push services you do not need, or treat every client the same.

The people you will see when you come in. Every medical treatment is done by a registered nurse under the medical direction of a board-certified dermatologist.
Founder and Owner, CMT, MLD-C, CPST
Gloria Alcazar
Gloria founded Bliss and runs its day-to-day operations. She trained in Brazil under a well-known, respected practitioner, learning what is considered the gold standard of Brazilian lymphatic drainage, built on the Vodder and Leduc methods. She has spent about five years performing it nearly every day, with a particular focus on post-op recovery. Trainings in the Brazilian method are coming soon.

Athena Alcazar DaSilva
Athena has been a licensed cosmetologist for more than ten years. She started her career in San Diego doing hair, then moved into lash extensions and brows, and came home to Stockton to co-found Bliss. Today she leads the Brow & Lash Bar. What she loves most is the moment a client looks in the mirror and feels good about what she sees.

Emma is a registered nurse with a warm, conservative approach. She focuses on Botox, microneedling and wellness injections, and especially enjoys working with clients who are new to aesthetics.

Jolie focuses on filler, lips, Botox and facial balancing. She looks at the face as a whole, aiming for noticeable results that still look like you.

Dr. Sonia Badreshia-Bansal
Dr. Badreshia-Bansal is a board-certified dermatologist with expertise in injectables, laser therapy and dermatologic surgery, with a particular focus on skin of color. All medical aesthetic treatments at Bliss are performed by registered nurses under her medical direction.
