Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage and Post-Op Recovery in Stockton

Lymphatic drainage is where Bliss started, and it is still at the heart of what we do. Gloria Alcazar trained in Brazil under a well-known, respected practitioner, learning what is considered the gold standard of the Brazilian method. She has spent the last five years performing it nearly every day: about six sessions a day, five days a week, for thousands of sessions. Along with her training in Brazil, she has completed clinical training in the United States.

Gloria is a Certified Massage Therapist (CMT), certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD-C), and a Certified Plastic Surgery Therapist (CPST).

The method

The technique is built on the Vodder and Leduc methods, the foundations of manual lymphatic drainage. What sets the Brazilian approach apart is how it is applied: a specific pressure, rhythm and sequence, and a session length that gives the lymphatic system time to respond. Done this way, the difference is something clients feel the same day.

Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage

Best for detox, feeling lighter and less bloated, and a digestive reset, along with all the other benefits of lymphatic drainage. Ideal for anyone who feels puffy, heavy or bloated, or wants smoother-looking legs. No surgery required.

What clients tell us after a session:

They feel noticeably lighter and less bloated.

They feel more energized.

Their legs look visibly different.

Swelling looks reduced and cellulite looks softer.

Pricing: $150 per session, or a package of 3 for $425. Buy the package

Post-Op Recovery

After liposuction, tummy tuck and other body procedures, lymphatic drainage helps move the fluid that causes swelling and hardness. As a Certified Plastic Surgery Therapist, Gloria works within your surgeon's guidelines and adjusts each session to where you are in recovery.

Single session: $140

5 sessions: $550

10 sessions: $1,000

Most clients start within the first week or two after surgery, once their surgeon clears them. We recommend booking your package before your surgery date so your first sessions are reserved.

What to expect

Every session is one hour. Wear something comfortable. For post-op sessions, bring your surgeon's instructions so we can follow them from the first visit. Most clients leave feeling lighter, and many notice less swelling the same day. Drink plenty of water afterward.

Procedures we support

Lymphatic drainage after liposuction and 360 lipo, tummy tuck, mommy makeover and other body contouring procedures. We work with patients referred by local plastic surgeons, and your surgeon's guidelines always come first.

Serving Stockton and the Central Valley

Clients come to us from Stockton, Lodi, Manteca, Tracy and across San Joaquin County. Our studio is on Pacific Ave in Stockton's Miracle Mile.

Lymphatic Drainage FAQ

Is Brazilian lymphatic drainage different from a regular massage?

Yes. It is not a deep-tissue massage. The pressure, rhythm and sequence are specific to moving lymph, not working muscle.

How soon after surgery can I start?

When your surgeon clears you, usually within the first one to two weeks. Bring your surgeon's instructions to your first visit.

How many sessions will I need?

For post-op, most clients do a series of 5 to 10. For Brazilian lymphatic drainage, many come in regularly to maintain how they feel.

Do you work with my surgeon's instructions?

Always. Your surgeon's guidelines come first.

Does it hurt?

No. The pressure is light and specific to moving lymph, and each session is adjusted to where you are in recovery.

How long is a session?

One hour.

Do I need a referral?

No. For post-op sessions, we only need your surgeon's clearance.
